Meeting Rhett today for the first time was wonderful! He is a sweet little boy. He had the latest photo album we sent him in is hand when we walked in. He walked up to both of us and called us Mom & Dad in Vietnamese. I had a hard time keeping it together at that point but some how I did.
Right now we aren't completely sure when our G & R date is - it was supposed to be tomorrow morning, but it may not happen until Tuesday. I'll keep you posted.
It is very hot and VERY humid in Can Tho - even inside the orphanage.
I am having trouble downloading all the pictures, but I will do so as soon as I can.

Hi guys! I was hoping to read a note from you today to see how your first meeting with Rhett went. How awesome!! I don't know how you didn't loose it when he called you Mom & Dad - how wonderful that he knew who you were! He is so precious. Can't wait to hear more and it did look hot in there. Oh my, I'm crying like a baby. I'm so happy for you. What a gift for Rhett to recognize you and call you Mom and Dad. I can't wait to read more about your trip and to see more pictures of Rhett. Chuck & Cindy, congratulations! You are parents!!!! It's the most wonderful thing in the world. Enjoy the time you have just being together. I'm sure Rhett will do just fine and you will be amazed at how quickly you all communicate...even without words. Khoa was amazing at that and I know Rhett will be too!

OH MY GOSH!! It's so great seeing you guys in the same pictures with Rhett. I can't believe you're finally there. I almost cried when I read about him calling you mom and dad. How cool is that! I can't wait for you to get him home so we can meet him.
