We have had a great 2+ weeks! Since he recovered from jet lag - Rhett has really adjusted well. He loves his family and his new friends in the neighborhood. He is already sleeping in his own room - he loves his room! The kid could eat all day if I would let him! He hasn't had any trouble adjusting to American food and he learns new words daily. I can't tell you how many times he has told me he loves me today (I just melt every time)or how many times he has said "Momma" and then when I say what is it, he says "OK Chuck got him a new bike on Saturday and with a little coaching, he is now riding on his own - very cute!
We have our first post placement meeting with Rebecca tomorrow.
We miss all of the people we traveled with - I can't wait to get Rhett and Eli (and Lucy) together for the first time in the USA. I think Rhett will be thrilled to see Eli again!
