Internet Finally!

I finally have internet access - yippee.

G&R went pretty well yesterday. It was really emotional when the boys said goodbye to the caregivers. The caregivers have done a wonderful job with the boys for the past 3 years. The G&R was pretty painless - we just signed a few forms and we were on our way back to HCMC. It took what seemed like forever to get back to HCMC. Things got a little interesting after we got to the hotel. Rhett walked around like he was lost for most of the night. He did not want to stay in the hotel room. He was practically begging me to take him outside. I think he wanted to find his way back to Can Tho. It was very tough to take. He had his little Thomas the Train backpack packed all night and he was ready to go. At about 9:30 I was able to get him to settle down in bed and he was out until I woke him up at about 7:00. He is having a much better day today :)

Today the guys went to get the passports started for the boys - we get their pictures taken at 3:00. I'll keep everyone posted on our progress (assuming I can get online).

Hey, I wanted to tell you that within a day or so, Khoa was happiest when he was in the room. He would laugh and play as long as we were in the room, but the minute we would take him out of the room and especially the hotel, he would clam up and have the most concerned look on his face. We still did a lot of shopping with him, but there were a days where we probably should have only gone out for an hour or so and then went back to the hotel. Live and Learn I guess. I'm sure you are doing a great job with Rhett! I'm so happy for you. Have someone take a picture of the three of you so that we can see the "official" Myers family. :-) Please feel free to e-mail us at any time if you have questions. Don't know if we will know the answers, but we can sure try!
God Bless,
Shelly

Glad that you guys are back on-line! I enjoyed the pictures of Can Tho. I'm praying that God will bind your hearts together. It shows he felt loved in Can Tho. In his little world what he had was great; what a treat he's in for! I received two photos of Kaden from Katie. His is laying in his bed looking at the camara. I am so thankful to have a close up picture of him! Thank you guys! Hope things continue to progress...one day at a time!

Thank you for posting the pictures of Can Tho (your boat trip) and more of Rhett. He really is such a handsome little boy. We pray that God would bless you guys with a smooth processing time as well as bonding times full of wonderful moments! Like Shellyw, I can't wait to see a picture of the three of you together.
