Our interview at the embassy went well today - we can pick up our exit visas tomorrow at 4:00. Unfortunately, us and the Hodges won't be flying out will the rest of the families. We can't get a flight out until Monday, so we will spend the weekend, our 10 year wedding anniversary and my birthday (sorry I'll miss our birthday Shar) in Hanoi.
Rhett is doing really well - he is soaking up every bit of his new experiences. He is also testing me and Chuck. Our quiet, shy little boy is opening up and saying new words in English every day. His first Enlgish word was bye-bye and he has said apple, momma, be nice, hello, and bumble bee.
Take care,
Cindy

I was hoping Rhett would be saying mom and dad by the time you left. I LOVE it! Can't wait to see you when you get home. Hope you enjoy your anniversary! We'll celebrate our birthday when you get back.
Happy Anniversary and birthday! I am so glad that Rhett is doing so well.
Happy Birthday and Anniversary! Since you have a few extra days in Hanoi, I suggest a trip to Ha Long Bay (I don't think you've been there yet on your trip). It's so beautiful and the trip there isn't too bad. We did it all in one day.
So happy things are going well for Rhett. Isn't it wonderful hearing him say "Mommy"!
God Bless!
